Digital Piano Labs
In January we were grateful to be able to assist two wonderful local colleges replace their aging digital piano labs with new Roland technology. Kansas City Kansas Community College and State Fair Community College in Sedalia recognized their equipment was aging out and not keeping up with the demands that today’s students require. Each of them acquired 13 new Roland HP702 Digital Upright Pianos with all of the latest technology that permits the teacher to provide individual and group coaching through headphones and microphones. New Pianos for Raytown Schools
The Raytown, MO school district’s music department – under the leadership of Mr. Alex Kolster, High School Choir Director and Fine Arts Curriculum Coordinator for Raytown High and Middle Schools, has been achieving enormous success replacing all of their aging digital and acoustic pianos over the past couple of years. Their latest exciting achievements have been two new Boston Upright Model UP120S-PE delivered to Raytown High School and Raytown South High School and a new Boston 7’1” GP215-PE II Concert Performance Piano for Raytown South High School’s stunning brand new Performing Arts Center. This new space gives the community the ability to grow and expand on their music and art programs. It allows the students and faculty the latest tools to further expand on the craft of the art but also introduce new segments to the business of stage crews, lighting, set design, music performances and preparations. It’s an exciting time to be a Cardinal at RSHS!
Unspeakable (for now) excitement happening with the Kansas City Symphony this month! Be sure to read our next edition of Quarter Notes for that update.
